Woody wants the aliens to live in his carousel even without the claw machine. However, after some consideration, he changes his mind. They need to stay inside a Claw Machine. They don’t know how to behave around humans.

Take the pieces of the broken Claw Machine and gather the rest of the materials for the Aliens new home. Most of what you need is likely already in your storage chests. However, if you are missing anything, here is where to find it.

Hardwood

• Dreamlight Valley: Glade of Trust, Sunlit Plateau, Forest of Valor, Frosted Height
• Dig up Tree Stumps

Iron Ingot – Crafted from Iron Ore and Coal Ore

Glass – Crafted from Sand and Coal Ore

Quest Task: Gather the materials for the new Claw Machine:

• Hardwood – 10
• Iron Ingot – 2
• Glass 12

One new Claw Machine coming up! Head to a nearby crafting station. You’ll find the crafting recipe under Functional Items.

Quest Task: Craft the new Claw Machine.

Quest Task: Meet with Woody inside the Carousel.

Take the new Claw Machine to Woody. Now all you have to do is find the missing Aliens and you know just the Toy to help with this job – Buzz.

Quest Task: Make sure you have the Claw Machine in your Inventory.

Quest Task: Bring the Claw Machine to Woody.

Buzz is a step ahead of you. He’s already found 4 Aliens during his surveillance rounds in Dreamlight Valley.

Unfortunately, the Aliens aren’t able to return to the carousel without some help. They are all stuck. Most are buried in the ground, but one even landed in a block of ice!

It looks like your Royal Tools are going to get a workout!

• Use your Royal Shovel to dig up the Alien on Dazzle Beach and near the Giant Willow.
• Break the ice block with your Royal Pickaxe to release the Alien in the Frosted Heights, near the waterfall.
• The last Alien is in Scar’s Cave. This one just needs to be picked up and escorted out of the cave.

Quest Task: Talk to Buzz.

Quest Task: Find the Alien Toys.

• Under Dazzle Beach’s sand
• Frozen in ice near a waterfall
• In the ground near the Giant Willow
• In Scar’s Cave

Take the Alien Toys back to Woody. He is happy to have them all back… or at least he hopes that’s all of them!
