The Cooling Herb

Disney Dreamlight Valley’s May 1, 2024, A Day at Disney Star Path has Gamers searching for a Cooling Herb. Hmm, what herb is considered cooling in Disney Dreamlight Valley? Read on to find out.

Finding the Herb

A Day at Disney Star Path Duty #21, “Harvest a cooling herb”, may have you wondering. There are several herbs in Dreamlight Valley, but figuring out which one is cooling is a bit more of a challenge.

The herb in question is Mint. You need 25 to complete the Star Path duty and there is only one place to get them. It is likely no coincidence that the herb the Star Path refers to as cooling is found in the coldest spot in Dreamlight Valley.

Here is where to find Mint, along with a few important details.

Mint:

Mint grows in the wild.

Location:

  • Frosted Heights (Dreamlight Valley)

Harvest yield:

  • 1 Mint

Easy Collection of Herbs – The Ancient Vacuum

When you purchase A Rift in Time expansion and progress through the storyline a bit, you are able to build an Ancient Machine called the Advanced Ancient Vacuum. It makes finding and harvesting Mint much easier.

Here is how it works.

Simply place the Advanced Ancient Vacuum in any Biome, on Dreamlight Valley or Eternity Isle. It shows you a list of all the flowers, Night Thorns, Splinters of Fate, herbs and other items that are lying on the ground in that area. You can then select which items you want to ‘collect’. Be aware that there is a cost of 10 Mist, however, for each individual item you collect.

There are actually three different sizes of Ancient Vacuums, a basic model plus a standard and advanced model. Unfortunately, only the advanced model is capable of collecting herbs.

Here is the minimum list of quests that need to be completed before you can craft an Advanced Ancient Vacuum. To find all the crafting resources needed for the vacuum, you also need to upgrade your Hourglass to Level 3 at the Timebending Table, which you have access to at the end of these quests.

Happy Harvesting!
