A Day at Disney Star Path Duty #71 is “Harvest a spicy root”. You are looking for ginger and there is only one place in Dreamlight Valley where it grows.

Here is where to find Ginger, along with a few important details.

With the purchase of A Rift in Time expansion comes a handy gadget called an Advanced Ancient Vacuum. It is an item you build at a new crafting station called a Timebending Table. This Ancient Machine makes finding and harvesting Ginger much easier.

Here is how it works.

Simply place the Advanced Ancient Vacuum in any Biome, on Dreamlight Valley or Eternity Isle. It shows you a list of all the flowers, Night Thorns, Splinters of Fate, herbs and other items that are lying on the ground in that area. You can then select which items you want to ‘collect’. There is a cost of 10 Mist, however, for each individual item you collect.

There are actually three different sizes of Ancient Vacuums, a basic model plus a standard and advanced model. Unfortunately, only the advanced model is capable of collecting herbs.

Now, before you can actually build one of these great machines, you need to advance a bit through the storyline. Since there are a lot of quests to enjoy, we’ve narrowed down the list to help you along.

Here is the list of quests that need to be completed before you can craft an Advanced Ancient Vacuum. To find all the crafting resourced needed, you also need to upgrade your Hourglass to Level 3 at the Timebending Table, which you have access to at the end of these quests.
