Whether you are looking for a specific blue gem or simply something blue, knowing where to find each one can come in very handy.

To complete the prior Lovely Monsters Star Path Duty #22: Dig for something blue, any of the first four blue gems below will work. For the Dapper Delights Star Path Duty #52: Hunt for blue gems with your Pickaxe, only Sapphire, Aquamarine and Blue Zircon count.

With the release of The Storybook Vale Expansion on November 20, 2024 a fifth Blue gem, Star Sapphire, gets added to the mix. For Frost & Fairies Star Path Duty # 42: Mine for blue gems, released on December 4, 2024, all the blue gems, except Vitalys Crystals, count.

There are 5 different blue gems for you to collect. Better yet, both shiny and regular gems qualify for these particular Star Path Duties.

• Sapphire – Vitalys Mines Sunlit Plateau (Dreamlight Valley).

The Lagoon is a section of the Wild Tangle on Eternity Isle. To get to it, you will need to pass through The Grasslands and The Grove. The Grasslands are open to you as soon as you enter the Wild Tangle. The Grove, however, will cost you 4000 Mist to enter and The Lagoon will take another 10,000 Mist.

If you are new to Eternity Isle, there are a few quests you will need to complete before you have access to the area of the map known as the Wild Tangle. Here is a quick reference of what they are.

• The Port of Many Worlds – Merlin Quest
• The Secrets of Eternity Isle – Jafar Quest
• The Flying Metal Nuisance – Jafar Quest
• The Sands in the Hourglass – Jafar Quest

The Everafter is the name for the large area on the west side of Storybook Vale.

As you might expect, it cannot be accessed immediately upon arrival. You need to complete the following quests and gather some Story Magic, Storybook Vale’s new “currency”, to unblock the path.

Quest List:

• A New Chapter – Merida Quest

Story Magic can be gathered by completing Story Duties, found under the Dreamlight Menu while on Storybook Vale. Here is how much you need to open all the areas of Everafter.

Opens with Story Magic:

• The Wild Woods: 2000 Story Magic
• Teapot Falls (accessed thru The Wild Woods): 5000 Story Magic
• The Fallen Fortress (accessed thru The Wild Woods): 5000 Story Magic
• The Beanstalk Marshes (accessed thru Teapot Falls or Fallen Fortress): 10,000 Story Magic

The Storybook Vale Awaits!

Disney Dreamlight Valley is a lifestyle simulation game available on console, PC, Steam and mobile. Originally launched in September of 2022 in early release, it has since grown to well over a million followers and further expanded with two purchasable DLC. A Rift in Time DLC was released on December 5, 2023. The Storybook Vale DLC was released on November 20, 2024.

Players live in a magical dream world with Disney/Pixar characters where they take on adventures with their friends, decorate the Valley and solve the mystery of The Forgetting.
