Where are the Fugu?

Seasoned players have learned, and new players will quickly learn that the Fugu is one of the most elusive fish in Disney Dreamlight Valley. You must have the magical mix of the perfect weather and luck on your side if you want to find Fugu.

Duty # 57: Fish for something that’s puffy

Where to find Fugu:

Go to Dazzle Beach, while it’s raining and look for red circles in the water. You will need to use your Royal Fishing Rod and hit the X button (A button or corresponding yes button) just as soon as it pops on screen.

Red circles will give you two options: the Fugu or the Swordfish. No, you don’t get to choose, and the Swordfish usually has a better chance of showing up. But don’t get discouraged! Sometimes the Fugu is quick to show up. Other times, that Swordfish will push its’ way in 7 or 8 times before that Fugu gets its’ turn.

To make things easier, if you have unlocked the Miracle Fishing Bait, you can use that to assist you. The Miracle Fishing Bait turns all white circles red for approximately a dozen turns.

Pro Tip: Don’t bother using the Even More Miraculous Fishing Bait. The rainy weather doesn’t usually last all that long and it will probably stop raining before your Even More Miraculous Fishing Bait stops working, wasting valuable resources.
