There are 4 Orange Gems in Disney Dreamlight Valley and one more that sometimes qualifies as orange although it really leans toward yellow. In any case, knowing where to find each one can come in very handy when trying to complete those various Dreamlight, Mist or Star Path duties.

For example, Lovely Monsters Star Path Duty #52: Mine for an orange gem has you looking for any of the orange gems. Both shiny and regular gems qualify for this particular Star Path Duty.

Here is the list of Orange Gems and their locations.

Citrine

• Glade of Trust (Dreamlight Valley)
• Sunlit Plateau (Dreamlight Valley)

Bumblestone

• The Borderlands in Glittering Dunes (Eternity Isle)

Evergem

• The Ruins in Ancient’s Landing (Eternity Isle)

Magma (added November 20, 2024)

• Mythopia (Storybook Vale)

While Topaz qualified as an Orange Gem for the Lovely Monsters Star Path, released February 28, 2024, it falls firmly into the Yellow Gem category for the later Frost & Fairies Star Path, which came out on December 4, 2024.

• The Docks in Ancient’s Landing (Eternity Isle)

Travel to Eternity Isle to find all the Orange Gems. You initially arrive at The Docks, a section of Ancients Landing. It’s a good place to start mining, however, there are other sections of Ancient’s Landing that hold Orange Gems as well.

To unblock the entrance to The Ruins to find Evergems, you need to first open the entrance to The Overlook in Ancient’s Landing. The Overlook will cost 6000 Mist to open and The Ruins an additional whopping 10,000 Mist.

Getting to The Courtyard of Ancient’s Landing for Topaz does not require Mist. Instead, you need to progress through Jafar’s quest The Secrets of Eternity Isle.

For Bumblestone, head to The Borderlands. The Borderlands is a section of the Glittering Dunes. To get to the Glittering Dunes, you must complete Jafar’s quest The Sands in the Hourglass. Once there, it will again cost you the high sum of 10,000 Mist to clear the entrance to The Borderlands.

Storybook Vale, a purchased expansion, opened on November 20, 2024.

It is broken up into 3 large areas: The Bind, Everafter and Mythopia.

Similar to Eternity Isle, these large areas are further broken down into multiple sections. Mythopia is made up of 4 smaller sections and Magma can be found in all of them.

You first arrive at Storybook Vale in The Bind. To reach Mythopia will require a little bit of adventuring and Story Magic, Storybook Vale’s new “currency”. The quests you need to complete are as follows:

• Welcome to The Storybook Vale – Merida Quest
• A New Chapter – Merida Quest

To gain story magic, complete Story Duties, found in the Dreamlight Menu while in Storybook Vale. Here is how much you’ll need to open the path to all the areas of Mythopia.

• The Bind – 500 Story Magic
• The Elysian Fields – 2000 Story Magic
• The Statue’s Shadow (accessed thru The Elysian Fields) – 5000 Story Magic
• The Fiery Plains (accessed thru The Elysian Fields) – 5000 Story Magic
• Mount Olympus (accessed thru Statue’s Shadow or Fiery Plains) – 10,000 Story Magic
