As you’re about to enter the new Biome, Dazzle Beach, Merlin approaches you with some concerns. Memories are starting to get foggy again. It appears to be related to the Dark Entity you saw a few moments before.

This is a complicated situation. It’s become clear that in order to stop The Forgetting from reoccurring, you must find out more about what’s happening and who is behind it.

A good starting place is the Sea Witch. Merlin suggests talking to Ursula, who is currently residing in one of the Dazzle Beach caves. Perhaps she knows something she’s willing to share.

Quest Task: Talk to Merlin.

You find Ursula trapped in a cave on the east side of Dazzle Beach. The entrance is covered with a dark aura, but oddly enough, you can pass right through.

Ursula didn’t see the Dark Entity you saw minutes before, but she does have some information about The Forgetting.

Incidentally, she also knows where Dazzle Beach’s stolen Orb of Power is. Plus, she has the key that will let you enter the area where it’s hidden. Until the Orb is returned to the Pillar, Ursula remains trapped in this cursed cave. So, to get the key and more information… Surprise… she’ll make you a deal.

The required key and all the information Ursula knows about The Forgetting can be yours. All you need to do is break the curse that is holding her in the cave and …let …her …out.

Pro Tip: There is a treasure chest in the Cursed Cave which contains a few items, including some tomato seeds. Don’t plant all of these immediately. Save one for use later in the quest.

Make the deal!

Take the Crystal Key and locate the blocked entrance to the second cave on Dazzle Beach. Placing the Crystal Key on the pedestal near the entry immediately triggers a reaction. The stone wall moves, and a doorway appears.

How exciting! It’s just like the movies. Hmm, there could be traps or puzzles inside. Details! You’re up for the challenge. No time like the present to check it out!

It doesn’t take long to reach a gateway, pulsing with magic. A small stone stands in front, presenting a clue on how to proceed.

Since you likely don’t have everything you need in your backpack Inventory, it’s time to exit the cave and do a little mining. It also pays to check your storage chests. Some of the gems you need may already be there.

You need three gems if you want to remove the first magical barrier. They are Peridot, Aquamarine and Garnet. Here is where to mine for each. Gems appear randomly, so if you don’t get what you need right away, come back a little later and try again.

Peridot – Mine Peaceful Meadow or Dazzle Beach

Aquamarine – Mine Dazzle Beach or Forest of Valor

Garnet – Mine Plaza or Peaceful Meadow

Order of Gems: Starting with the statue to the left of the gate and moving to the right.

Once you’ve solved the puzzle of the first Magic Gate, you’re allowed to proceed further into the cave. The path descends quickly and before long you’re standing in front of another Magic Gate. This gate also has a puzzle carved into the stone standing before it.

It appears you need to plant some seeds to solve this riddle. Don’t forget to water them.

Pro Tip: Tomato seeds require a second watering. Check back after a little time to see if your plant is dry again.

You need a carrot seed, a wheat seed and a tomato seed to solve the second Magic Gate puzzle. You may have picked up some of these already, but if you are missing any, head to Goofy’s Stall in these locations to pick up the missing seeds.

Carrot Seed

• Sold: Goofy’s Stall-Peaceful Meadow when fully upgraded
• Cost: 10 Star Coin
• Grow Time: 15 min.
• Harvest Yield: 1

Wheat Seed

• Sold: Goofy’s Stall-Peaceful Meadow when upgraded to sell 4 items
• Cost: 1 Star Coin
• Grow Time: 1 min.
• Harvest Yield: 2

Tomato Seed

• Sold: Goofy’s Stall-Dazzle Beach when upgraded to sell 4 items
• Cost: 8 Star Coin
• Grow Time: 25 min.
• Harvest Yield: 3

2nd Gate – Plants: Plant the following seeds from left to right.

• Carrot
• Wheat
• Tomato

A third and final Magic Gate awaits further down the path. This time you have a cooking challenge. Conveniently, there is a cooking station at the ready.

No actual recipe is provided, but the stone tablet gives you a pretty good clue. Be sure to also eat what you cook.

Quest Task: Find a way to remove the third Magic Gate in the Mystical Cave.

Pro Tip: It’s okay to harvest the vegetables you just planted. Picking what you grew will not cause the second Magic Gate to close again.

3rd Gate – Meal: Make a Veggie Pasta dish using the three vegetables you grew.

The Orb of Power appears to be in the pond at the bottom of the cavern. A little fishing later and you have it in your backpack.

It’s pulsing with great power. You must be on the right track.

There is a pillar just outside the entrance to the Mystical Cave. Head to the exit and see if the orb fits in that pillar.

Placing the Orb into the Pillar causes the dark magic surrounding the pillar to disappear. It also removes the dark aura from the mouth of the Cursed Cave.

It appears Ursula was right. Returning the Orb of Power to the Pillar was the key to releasing her from the Cursed Cave.

As you can imagine, Ursula is very happy to see you. As promised, she fills you in on the information she’s gathered about The Forgetting.

It turns out that there is a Being behind The Forgetting. The only way to stop them, according to Ursula, is to return all the orbs to their Pillars. It looks like you have quite a job in front of you!
