Gaston is adjusting to life on Eternity Isle. But there is one thing he finds missing. Appropriate adoration…of him and a good place for everyone to come and praise him. It’s no surprise that Gaston needs to be the center of attention!

Still, it wouldn’t hurt to get Gaston’s lodge back in shape and it definitely needs some fixing up.

Quest Task: Meet Gaston inside his lodge in The Wastes.

It comes as no surprise that Gaston is focused on getting his portrait fixed. He’s the center of attention and the portrait needs to be a focal point in the room after all.

He also wants the sand piles that snuck into the lodge cleared out. And who gets to do all that work? Just you, of course. In typical Gaston manner, his “help” is non-existent.

Quest Task: Clean up Gaston’s lodge:

• Dig up the sand piles inside Gaston’s lodge – 5.
• Revert the ruined portrait in Gaston’s lodge by interacting with it.

Quest Task: Talk to Gaston.

The lodge looks much better, but it is a bit bare. It needs furniture. Gaston suggests a trip to Scrooge McDuck. Hopefully, you can entice Scrooge into helping with a few gems.

Quest Task: Find various gems to trade with Scrooge McDuck:

• Alexandrite
• Jade
• Spinel

There are many new Gems to be found on Eternity Isle and here is where to find the ones you need for Scrooge McDuck.

Be sure to take a mining buddy along. They will usually throw you some extra gems which is a nice way to build up your gem inventory!

Alexandrite

Take the gems you collected to Scrooge and find out if he has any furniture that would work in the lodge.

You’re in luck, he has some furniture in storage that might just work and he’s willing to part with them for a price. The gems will cover some of the cost, but rather than asking for star coins for the remainder, Scrooge wants a percent of the lodges profit. Negotiations start at 50%!

Scrooge is a businessman, or is it businessduck, with an eye for profit through and through!

Quest Task: Bring the gems to Scrooge McDuck.

With the furniture secured, you just need a few more items to help repair the exterior of the lodge.

Head to Gaston’s Lodge and the Scrooge McDuck Construction Sign.

Surprise! Gaston appears instead of Scrooge and even more surprising, Gaston takes on the exterior repairs. He’s actually helping!?! They are completed in the flash of the screen.

Gaston is hungry and wants meat!

Before The Forgetting, he was on the trail of a mythical relic, an Enchanted Meat Freezer. The legend says that its’ broken pieces were scattered in the Wild Tangle and are now lost in time.

Hmm, Sounds like a job for your Royal Hourglass!

Quest Task: Enter Gaston’s lodge.

Gaston helpfully provides plans he found before The Forgetting. The blueprints are for your Timebending Table and will help you reassemble the Freezer of Infinite Meat.

But first, you need to search the Wild Tangle for the Freezer pieces!

Quest Task: Check out the Blueprints for the Freezer of Infinite Meat in your Inventory.

Quest Task: Search for Freezer Fragments in the Wild Tangle using the Hourglass.

Time for some Timebending Crafting!

After delivering the Freezer of Infinite Meat to Gaston, head to the broken-down stall near Gaston’s Lodge.

Interact with the Scrooge McDuck Construction sign stands in front of the stall. This time Scrooge appears and takes care of the Stall repair. In an uncharacteristic gesture, Scrooge does the repair for free.

Hmm, maybe this is where he expects to make his cut of Gaston’s profits…

Quest Task: Bring the Freezer of Infinite Meat to Gaston.

Quest Task: Go re-open Gaston’s old Stall in the desert using the Scrooge McDuck Sign.

Gaston is thrilled to have meat available and is looking forward to a great meal. But you guessed it, he doesn’t cook. He wants you to do the cooking, but not just one meal. You need to make enough for a whole lodge full of guests.

Gaston is going to host a party at his newly repaired lodge. He wants to be the center of attention and show off his generosity by serving his guests lots of great meat meals.

His generosity doesn’t extend to your party preparations, however. You need to buy all the meat for the meat dishes you’re making for him.

Quest Task: Return to Gaston.

Put on your chef’s hat and start cooking. You need to make 4 2-Stars or better meat recipes. The choice of what to make is completely up to you.

A simple recipe you might want to try is Baked Beans.

Baked Beans Recipe:

• Pork – 1
• Beans – 1

Bean seeds can be purchased at Goofy’s Eternity Isle Stall in the Glittering Dunes for 50 Star Coins. Plant them in your garden. They grow in 1 hour.

Quest Task: Experiment with these new ingredients.

• Cook any meat-based Meal of 2-Stars or higher for Gaston – 4.

Quest Task: Bring the meals back to Gaston’s lodge.

Pro Tip: Dig in the area around Gaston’s Lodge to find a meat recipe.

Gaston’s guests have arrived just as you are delivering the meals. Odd, Gaston seems to have grown a little shy during his time in the desert. You find him lingering, well almost hiding actually, in the doorway when you hand him the meals. He can’t very well be the center of attention if he’s hiding in the doorway, but that fact seems to escape him.

Oh well, guess you get to play the role of party hostess, too.

Quest Task: Make sure you have a meat-based Meal of 2-Stars or higher for the lodge gathering – 4.

Quest Task: Give the meals to Gaston.
