Appetizers get the coveted title of “5-Star” when they are made with 5 ingredients. The higher number of ingredients usually means that these appetizers provide a good amount of energy if you eat them.

Below is the list of Dreamlight Valley (base game) Appetizers that fall into the 5-Star category, along with a few important facts.

Some of these appetizers sell for a nice amount of Star Coins at Goofy’s Stalls on Dreamlight Valley, Goofy’s Eternity Isle Stalls or Goofy’s Storybook Vale Stalls, if you’re in need of increased funds. But that also depends on which of the variable ingredients you use to make them. For example, the Large Seafood Platter, made with 4 Lobster sells for 6132 Star Coins, but the same dish made with 4 Clams only sells for 340 Star Coins.

If you purchase A Rift in Time expansion, there is one more Appetizer that qualifies as 5-Star, for you to make.

The second purchased expansion, The Storybook Vale which arrived on November 20, 2024, also has some appetizers for you to consider. Here are the ones that fall into the “5-Star” category.

Star Paths are a reoccurring special event in Disney Dreamlight Valley and some of the Star Path Duties that are included always center around cooking. A good example is Duty # 66 in Garden of Whimsy Star Path “Cook a perfect appetizer”. It has you heading to a cooking station to find appetizer recipes.

To complete this Star Path Duty, you need to cook 10 appetizers, all 5-Star. Still, you can choose to make 10 appetizers of a single recipe or pick several of the recipes from the 5-Star list. It’s entirely up to you.
