Entrees are considered “5-Star” Entrees when they contain 5 ingredients. For that same reason, they usually provide a good amount of energy if you eat them and some of them sell for a nice chunk of Star Coins.

Here is the list of Dreamlight Valley (base game) Entrees that fall into the 5-Star category, along with a few important facts.

If you purchase A Rift in Time expansion there are even more Entree recipes, also 5-Star, for you to choose from.

The Storybook Vale is the second purchased expansion that came to Disney Dreamlight Valley. As you might expect, it comes with many new tasty Entrees. Here are the ones that fall in to the “5-Star” category.

5-Star Entrees are almost always needed for the Disney Dreamlight Valley Star Paths.

A good example is Garden of Whimsy Star Path which released on April 23, 2025. It’s Star Path Duty #56 is “Cook a perfect entree”.

To complete this Star Path Duty, you need to cook 10 “5-Star” Entrees. Desserts or Appetizers won’t count for this Star Path Duty. So, make 10 entrees of a single recipe or pick several of the recipes from the 5-Star list. Either will work. It’s entirely your choice.
