Remy joins Dreamlight Valley early in the game, with the opening of Chez Remy.

The Bon Appetit quest line comes to Dreamlight Valley, bringing a new dimension to Chez Remy with mobile orders, which differ from day to day, and game to game. In tests across 5 different games and 2 platforms the same quest only showed up twice on the same day over the course of three weeks.

Quest types range from helping Remy in the kitchen to cooking elaborate buffets for villagers. Some orders even come with a mini story that follows the delivery of the food, often with amusing results. Saving Donald from a certain hungry lion was one of our favorites.

As with all good quests, there is a reward for completing the challenge. In this case there are several rewards. You receive some wrought iron, a newly added resource that is unique to this event. Plus, Remy has star coins and friendship stars waiting for you.

Wrought iron is a great addition to the resource list, especially with Bon Appetit staying in Dreamlight Valley! It is used to craft some fun new furniture, fencing and a statue to help enhance the outdoor experience of Chez Remy.

Be warned, these recipes require a lot of wrought iron and Remy gives it out sparingly. To build up your wrought iron inventory, be sure to check in with Remy daily for a new Chez Remy Mobile delivery order.

Most of the new crafting recipes are found under Furniture at your crafting station, including the Wrought Iron Walkway Slab. The exceptions are the Wrought Iron Fence and a second Iron Ingot recipe.

The Wrought Iron Fence crafting recipe is found, as expected, under Fence & Paving. The second Iron Ingot recipe is found under Refined Material.

In our opinion, making Iron Ingot out of wrought iron is a waste of a limited resource, especially when your inventory is low. But it’s entirely up to you. Just be careful to pick the recipe you actually want.

• Ornate Parisian Chair – 5 Wrought Iron

• Ornate Parisian Chair – 15 Wrought Iron
• Wrought Iron Walkway Slab – 2 Wrought Iron (makes 4 Slabs)
• Wrought Iron Fence – 1 Wrought Iron (makes 3 Fence)
• Iron Ingot – 1 Wrought Iron (makes 2 Iron Ingot)

Although the length of time was not initially clear, it appears Bon Appetit is staying in Dreamlight Valley!
