5-Star Desserts are the most complicated desserts in the cooking menu, simply because they have 5 ingredients. For that same reason, they usually provide a good amount of energy if you eat them.

Here is the list of Dreamlight Valley (base game) Desserts that fall into the 5-Star category, along with a few important facts.

The Storybook Vale, Disney Dreamlight Valley’s second purchased expansion, was released on November 20, 2024. It adds 2 more Desserts to the “5-Star” category.

Get ready to cook some great 5-Star Deserts for your next Star Path. Although the duty number and the exact phrasing may differ, almost all of the Star Paths include this Star Path Duty.

In fact, 5-Star Desserts are needed for Duty #76 in both Disney Dreamlight Valley’s Frost and Fairies Star Path, released on December 4, 2024 and Oasis Retreat Star Path released on February 26, 2025.

Later Star Paths have shuffled the duty numbers, but you’ll still find a version of “Cook a perfect dessert” in the list. It’s also common for the duty to require 10 “5-Star” Desserts. You can choose to make 10 desserts of a single recipe or pick several of the recipes from the 5-Star list. It’s entirely up to you.
